SLAPSHOT — Detroit Chili Cup Hockey Tee | Bowl Games
In 1926, a new professional hockey franchise took the ice in Detroit for its first season. The team skated onto the rink wearing red, playing the first chapter of what would become one of the most storied hockey cities in North America. Almost a century later, Detroit has earned every inch of its Hockeytown reputation — Stanley Cup banners, Original Six heritage, and a supporter base that shows up in minus-ten weather wearing nothing but a sweater and attitude. And when Detroit winters get cold — which is always — the city's chili culture steps up. Coney-style chili, Greek-diner chili, hand-me-down family recipes thick enough to hold a spoon upright. Chili and hockey are both what Detroit does to survive February.
SLAPSHOT is our tribute — a player in vintage red winding up for a slapshot, stick blade connecting with a steaming chili bowl instead of a puck, a goaltender braced in the crease holding a stockpot as a blocker. It's the shot. It's the slap. It's the one-pot recipe played at full speed.
The ChiliStation logo sits on the left chest. The full illustration lives on the back — where everyone behind you at the rink, the bar, or the tailgate will see it first.
